Generally the most reliable dish on any tavern menu, provided you don't think too awfully hard about what might've gone into it. I like when there are carrots cooked in the broth soft enough that they don't crunch anymore. And potatoes.

Why are you stewing on thoughts of stew?

Oh, you and Heine can't have dinner together anymore.
The reason why I asked is because it turns out my stew has stewed and I've made entirely too much of it. Would you like to not have to scrounge for dinner tonight? It's good stew.

Just how much is entirely too much? I never say no to free food. I've spent too much time not having enough of it.

And in terms of how much - well, it's... a lot. I have to warn you that there aren't any carrots or potatoes in it; I've rice for it as well.

What kind of stew doesn't have carrots or potatoes in it? That seems antithetical to the idea of stew at all.
